It makes me feel introspective
I really like the socklops series mostly because of all of Mr. Firths work it is the most genuine. I don't care for his more violent animations because they usually just involve violence for the sake of Violence. This movie inpartically stands apart from the others because its plot is wound together in a deeply symbolic way. A subconsious statement about what it means to exist in a society that places more and more value on consumerism (with the man in basement) and the absurdity of our own invention and its affect on our ego (scientist/inventor) Finally coming full circle to the individual and how we find ways to escape from this reality (narrator/shrinking and making up games/awarding ourselfs imaginary prizes)
